Let me start by saying that the EPA totally sucks and they make life
quite miserable for many of us!!! They are a bunch of lame,
pencil-pushing, head-up-their-butts bureaucrats, nothing better to
do than finding new ways to pry more money out of us. Welcome to
fricking socialism!
The new EPA regulations will start to come into effect by January 1,
2006 and will affect individuals who plan on building a custom bike
and custom build shops who do not have a manufacturer's license.
These changes will not affect the bikes we build here at Sculpture
Cycles. All the bikes we build come with a 17 digit VIN (Vehicle
Identification Number) and a MSO (Manufacturer's Statement of
Origin).
