Important: Before you order anything from SculptureCycles, please read our business
terms.
Business terms:
1) General:
Most of our parts are from Europe and TUV
certified but are not DOT approved; which means that our parts are for show
bikes or competition use only and you use them at your own risk. Have a professional
and qualified
mechanic install them.
However, all frames and engines come with a Manufacturer's Statement of Origin
(MSO) and the bike you build can be registered as a Special Construct (Specon)
at your local Motor Vehicle Department
2) Stock:
Some items are too custom to stock (e.g. frames with rake options or front
ends with length options). Some items are too exotic to stock. We try to keep our overhead low, to be able to keep our prices low.
Delivery is anywhere from 1-8 weeks depending on stock in Europe, and/or our
fabrication time
3) Shipping:
*On some items the shipping is included, on some it is not. In some cases it
will depend on the size of the order whether we charge for shipping on not.
Either way, we will let you know when you place the order. All parts we ship are shipped ground UPS,
unless otherwise specified.
4) Prices and payment options:
All prices are in US$. Only AZ residents are subject to sales tax. We reserve
the right to change our prices without notice (due to manufacturers price
increases and/or dramatic exchange rate fluctuation). Ordered parts need to be
pre paid by either credit card or certified funds (i.e. money order). For credit card purchases we
will fax or email you an invoice with ordered parts and the total $ amount
owed, for you to please sign and return.
5) Returning parts:
you need a return confirmation from us prior to returns, so make sure you call
first. Parts have to be returned within 30 days in their original condition
and with a copy of the invoice. Specialty items or electrical parts can not be
returned (e.g. raked frames). Customer pays for shipping. There will be a 20%
re-stocking fee if there is no valid reason for returning ordered parts/items.
So, please make sure you order what you really need/want.
6) Cancellation of orders:
We charge a 20%
cancellation fee on standard parts (off-the-shelf, either at our location or
at our supplier's). Specialty items like frames and tanks we can only send a
refund if we have not started working on it; once we started on specialty
items, you can not cancel or expect us to refund your 80%. Again, please make sure you order what you really
need/want.
7) Complaints and warranties:
Complaints need to be mailed to us within 30 days of receiving the item/items.
We extend the manufacturers warranties and their decision to either replace or
repair defective items. We can not be held liable for anything except for the
replacement or repair of warranted items. Any court issues will be settled in
Mesa, AZ, USA.
